Early Childhood Screening
Early Childhood Screening is scheduled for October 16th-17th, 2023. Minnesota State Law requires that every child complete Early Childhood Screening. Screening is provided free of charge. All children who were at least 3-years-old by September 1, 2023 should be screened. If your child is eligible for screening and you do not receive an appointment letter in the mail by mid-September, please contact Amber Beadell at (507)342-5114 ext. 162 or amber.beadell@isd640.org ;
At your child’s screening appointment, the following will be checked:
* Height & Weight
* Hearing & Vision
* Social & Emotional Development
* Immunization / Health History
*Cognitive & Fine/Gross Motor Skills
*Communication & Articulation
The purpose of this screening is to identify children who may have health or developmental delays at a young age that might affect their performance.
